My name is Emanuela Benincasa, I am a PhD Candidate in Finance from the Swiss Finance Institute at the University of Zurich. I hold a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Siena and a Master’s degree in Finance jointly from the University of Siena and the University of Ljubljana School of Economics and Business. Later in 2025, I will join the University of Sydney as an Assistant Professor of Finance. 

The MSc in Finance at UniSi provides a variety of opportunities and courses that enable a combination of theoretical foundation, critical thinking and the practical knowledge needed to face challenges both in academic and finance industry environments. 

During my studies at UniSi, I have always drawn inspiration from solid and strong faculty and students communities. The professors and fellow students that I met during my journey both in the University of Siena and Ljubljana taught me that hard work and dedication are key to succeed. I will always remember the support and commitment of friends in my cohort, and the examples of Professors who made me dream a career as a University Professor.
