My name is Emanuele Terpini, and I have completed my entire university education at the University of Siena. I first earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economic and Banking Sciences – Banking and Finance, followed by a Master’s degree (MSc) in Finance in April 2024. 

The high level of expertise of the faculty allowed me to acquire essential quantitative knowledge in the fields of finance and financial markets. I chose to conclude my academic journey by writing my thesis under the supervision of Professor Cristiano Iacopozzi from the Asset Allocation course. My research focused on a specific market indicator, and my thesis was titled “Analysis on Portfolios Based on VIX: Can the ‘Fear Index’ Make Us Earn Fearlessly?”

The education I received enabled me to secure an internship at Intesa Sanpaolo during the thesis-writing period, followed by another internship at Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena in Compliance Advisory, a position I am currently holding
